It’s all about Jesus.

Reading the Bible

As a church, we want to develop a rhythm of reading God's word daily. Because we are a people saved through the covenantal promise of God, we must know the promises which are ours in Jesus Christ. In daily reading, we long to see—with growing clarity—God's great gospel of grace culminated in Christ.

As we look at the Scriptures, we ask the Spirit of God to use his Word and gospel community to help us see our deep need for grace and how all our need is perfectly met in the risen savior, Jesus. To this end, we want to read individually, but also process in community. As a church body, want to grow in seeing Jesus on every page, in Christ-likeness, and in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus over all things.

We have adopted the Seeing Jesus Together (SJT) reading plan. If you are inclined to utilize their resources, they have a journal that can be purchased, as well as an app that integrates with the daily readings. Both can be found at seeingjesustogether.com.

You may also simply follow along with your own pen and paper.
